Über die Veranstaltung
Almost everyone knows Marlies Krämer, the woman from Saarland who has been fighting for the linguistic visibility of women for 30 years and to whom we owe, among other things, the fact that highs in the weather reports now also have women's names. A film was made last year about her and her life. "The Customer" is the title of the film, which director Camilo Berstecher Barrero shot as a "femmage" to Marlies Krämer.
The Women's Council, together with a broad alliance of member organizations (previously: Saarland Chamber of Labor, Women's Gender Library Saar, Saarbrücken Women's Office, German Catholic Women's Association kfd, German Association of Women Lawyers djb, LAG of municipal women's representatives, Homburg City Women's Office, Saarland Women's Emergency Hotline, profamilia Saarbrücken) and with the support of Work and Culture Saarland, has set out to make this film available free of charge to as many people as possible and thus honor Marlies Krämer nationwide.
